1966 pontiac GTO vin 242176PXXXXX engine standard 389 ci 4 BBL id code –wt 335HP tranny munzie M20 wide ratio four speed code w Entire drivetrain is orginal. Rear axle 3.55 gear posi trac Color Montero Red code RR with red interior Ordered with rally guage cluster and tachometer, Option rally I wheels, four speed console, custom sport steering wheel, and soft ray glass on all windows. Built on 4th week of may 1966 and the engine date code is E6 6 {may 6th 1966). Description of car All the comes trim with the car and is good shape. It is stainless trim and comes with car. Interior is in good condition except for the headliner which has a hole above the driver side visor and both sail panels are off but have them. The outside is great from 20 ft away, but the paint job is amateur and the maybe the worst you’ve ever seen. There are three small holes behind the driver side rocker panel, and two finger tip sized hole on the upper window channel behind the stainless trim. as shown in pics. Has small rust spot on bottom corner driver side door. shown in pic There is rust repair in the both rear quarter panels done in the 80’s. The car runs strong but leaks oil and smokes when you start it. It is driven often and been reliable but it will need rebuilt in the next 5000 miles or so. Floor and frames don’t show any rust. as shown But the trunk floor has two rust spots shown in the pics. as shown Miles Odemeter shows 30K but who know how many miles. The odometer is connected.
