Vehicle Description
I am selling my 1968 Pontiac Tempest. The vehicle has a fiberglass GTO open ram air hood. The front bumper is painted steel.Vehicle is a rare two door post car. Car is very solid and in great shape,turns heads everywhere! Vehicle has only small rust bubbles on driver door( from sitting in damp garage) other than that car is rust free! Engine is a 455 ci from a later model, has high lift cam,headers,75 edelbrock carb,roller rockers. Runs great and is very fast. Has th400 trans which shifts great. Rear end is a 10 bolt posi with I believe 373 gears. Wheels are 17" ar torq thrust II's wraped is bfg rubber-gives it that pro-touring look. Interior needs a little work, driver seat has two small rips-at the seams-can be repaired. Gauge cluster is custom made sheet metal. Has auto meter gauges installed-not hooked up. Gas,temp, oil pressure and tach do work. Have an original dash panel uncut that goes with car. Rear bumper needs rechromed. This is a bad-ass street car that gets a ton of attention. I really hate to sell but need the money. I have owned the vehicle for 5 years and did most the work myself. I also have a complete front disc brake kit including booster and 2" drop spindles that I will include with the vehicle. I will not ship vehicle. $1,000 deposit( non-refundable) due within 36 hrs of auction end via paypal only or vehicle will be relisted and I will report bidder to ebay.
