1976 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX * LOW MILES * EXCEPTIONALLONG, SLEEK, ROOMY AND COMFORTABLE
The 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix fit the romantic mood of the 70's. These long, sleek, roomy and powerful automobiles were and are perfect for a summer time ride. Pontiacs were a step ahead and were often used to impress the neighbors. Today it is hard to find a nicer cruiser. The ride and comfort are second to none, and they still impress the neighbors. A classy machine. They are always the star at any show.
The automobile offered here is one of the best. It has never been abused. It has had excellent care. There is no rust today and there was no rust yesterday. Please notice the many close up pictures of every part of this car. Even the underbody is untouched and original. A lot of the original floor pan paint is still intact. I am quite sure the exhaust is original. No patches, no cover ups anywhere.
I will do my best to describe the car to you with pictures and words. This is a car you can drive, enjoy and show. It is one of the best. A crowd will gather no matter where you take it. It is just that nice. It's fun to be part of history. Memories are made of this.
The exterior is straight as an arrow and long and beautiful. The finish is very deep and shiny. This is not a 10 footer. It is just as nice up close as it is from a distance. The pin stripe is not plastic. It is all hand painted. It is a wonderful accent for the black finish. The Rally wheels and trim rings are in very good condition. They were a $97 option. Notice the period GR78X15 whitewall tires. The doors open and close easily and fit properly as do all of the body panels.
The interior is simply fabulous. The carpets and upholstery are very good to excellent. There are no wear areas. The seats are very comfortable and sit up as they should. The lateral support bucket seats were $168. The center console was part of the option. All the windows are soft ray glass, a $60 option. The whole interior, every part of it is show quality. This includes the center console, the dash, the sun visors and the headliner. Nothing is missing and every thing works. You just will not find a nicer interior on a 32 year old automobile.
My Dad was an expert when it came to buying a car. The first thing he always looked at was the trunk. His comment was always the same. "As the trunk goes so goes the rest of the car". Look at this one. It is very close to new. Place your valuables here and they will not be soiled.
The engine is original. It is spotless. A crowd will gather when you open the hood. The engine is smooth and powerful. It is tuned and ready to ride. Nothing is missing and every thing works. Power steering and power brakes compliment this awesome ride. The transmission shifts quick and smooth just as it should. This is an air conditioned car. A $505. option.
This car was delivered out of Dan Thomas Pontiac, Asheboro, North Carolina.. when BRAND NEW and spent it's entire life in a salt free environment, a true Southern automobile. The dealer order number is G14993, 1976. Bid with confidence.
MARK’S CORNER (My Son) This is truly a remarkable automobile, a drive anywhere car. It is hard to believe it is 32 years old. The underbody has never been touched. It is something to see one this clean. I drove this car, it is smooth, responsive and handles like a dream.
MAJESTIC CAR COMPANY Providing the worlds most discerning enthusiasts with the finest automobiles for two decades. Bid with confidence. Check our feedback, check the forums and ask others about the way we conduct ourselves and our business.

PONTIAC WAS THE STYLE LEADER! ALWAYS DRESSED IN IT’S SUNDAY BEST. THE FAMOUS PONTIAC DASH IS MASSIVE AND ATTRACTIVE. THE BUCKETS AND CONSOLE SPELL LUXURY! We do not over price our vehicles and take pride in our ability to find them and sell at reasonable prices.
We offer quality vehicles. Our low reserves reflect years of providing value to our customers. Our buyers are always searching for classic vehicles that represent the best possible value. Before bidding please read about us and our policies.
Oftentimes I'm asked about the roadworthiness of a vehicle. It is difficult to give an answer. EVERYONE LOOKS AT VEHICLES THROUGH DIFFERENT EYES. Even experienced buyers do not see things you might see. We have been purchasing for many years and try to do a better job then others but IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO LOOK BEFORE YOU BID IF YOU CHOOSE. Classic vehicles are today’s best investments in my opinion. What is expensive today is very cheap tomorrow. Appraisers cannot keep up. Some prices are changing weekly. 'Nobody makes these anymore'.
Keep in mind these vehicles need attention, they need to be tweaked and time needs to be spent in order to know their strengths and weaknesses. My suggestion is to get used to your classic or classics. You purchased an old vehicle to experience motoring FROM THAT ERA. Why try and change that?
Thank you for looking at our auctions. Many of you know us because of all the years we have been buying classic cars. We like and appreciate your emails. Thank you for your support. Mark and Wayne and Jeannie

About Us: It all started in 1949 when my dad bought a new Torpedo back Chevrolet. The option he was most proud of was an umbrella holder. What a CAR!! I remember Dad taking me to car show rooms and places like the Ford plant to look at cars. I was only eleven years old in 1949 but cars became my passion. Now my son shares my passion for cars and trucks, as does his son.
We are proud of our ability to find these classic vehicles and sell them at reasonable prices. Please notice our reserves are ALWAYS WELL UNDER book value. We like to buy, sell, trade. We have been in business for twenty years. You will like doing business with us.
