Vehicle Description
1969 Pontiac Grand Prix. XF Code 428. TH400. Madator Red. Parchment Interior. Black Dash. This Vehicle is Pontiac Historical Society Documented.
The original block is in the car. It was magnafluxed. The block is cracked (Photos). The heads are good. All internal motor parts are bagged, tagged and wrapped up for transport. The crank and cam can be reused. All brackets, bolts, timing cover, chrome air cleaner cover, chrome rocker covers, intake manifold, carburetor, etc. that were on the car will be included. Pistons that were knocked out will be included. Old valve train parts will be included. The point being, even though you will not use most of these things, they might be helpful in a restoration. There is only one car in my garage at any one time. No parts got scattered, misplaced or lost.
The car is a complete original. It appears to have been repainted once. Besides the headliner and the rear deck cover missing, the interior is complete. The dash is perfect. The undercar is suprisingly clean. The frame is clean. All the chrome is there.
If you get a 428 block, and plan a frame off restoration, you couldn't have a better canditate. Whether the block can be repaired is beyond my scope. It will be included to hold up the drive line as well as document the car.
