1976 Grand Prix SJ
37,000 Miles!
For 1976, Pontiac performed a major facelift of the 1973-vintage Grand Prix. The new styling effectively updated the look and significantly broke with tradition. Up front, the familiar dual round headlamps were replaced with four rectangular units. Likewise, the grille was an all-new waterfall design that folded over the top of the header panel. This cleverly executed update was a dramatic change from the previous Duesenberg-inspired design, which could be traced back to the 1969 model year.
This is one of two beautiful all original cars we will be listing in the next few days! The other is an all original '79 Olds Toronado with 52,000 miles. There is really not a lot to say about this one! the pictures tell the story! Please let them all load (there are over 90) to see the incredible condition of this Classic Pontiac! The exterior and interior are in near mint condition! The undercarriage is solid, clean and dry with no issues and the car starts, rides and feels as new! We have the original window sticker, the build sheet, the owners manual, maintenance manual, the showroom brochures and a dealer installed Pontiac bug deflector. All this will be included in the sale. This is without a doubt, one of the finest original cars we have had and I would say it has to be one the nicest '76 Grand Prixs' in the country!
Please remember that this car is 32 years old and not perfect. the clock is inoperable, there are some VERY MINOR scratches on the paint, the front and rear body filler pieces are slightly faded and the hood ornament is missing. We are trying to find a new hood ornament.
