Vehicle Description
This is a 1972 Pontiac Lemans Convertible, 400, 4spd. It was originally a 350, now has a great running 1973 400 (X5) engine and original 4X heads, Edelbrock Aluminum intake with a Holley Carburator. It has stock exhaust manifolds and a newer Dual Exhaust system out to a factory style dual exhaust rear valance. Installed a new set of dual splitter exhaust tips (1970 style, not shown in pictures). The car is actually very solid, it was boughten from South Carolina, it’s been repainted its original color Yellow, the paint is older, but it’s still decent driver quality condition. It has a few small bubbles here and there but the Frame, Floors, Trunk Floor are excellent. The Convertible Top is like new! All the glass is in excellent condition. The side stripe (factory reflective black),is new and looks awesome. The Mirrors are new, the Door Handles are new, Wheel Opening Moldings are new, the rear Bumper was rechromed a few years ago and looks great. The Tail Lamp Lenses are like new. I had the front Bumper repainted along with the front lower Valance, it looks great. The Wheels, 14’ Rally II’s, are excellent with new Trim Rings and new Center Caps. The tires are also in excellent condition ( B.F. Goodrich Radial TA’s). It also has a GTO Judge style rear Spoiler, which I think adds a lot to the appearance. The Interior ( Black Bucket Seat), is in excellent condition, the door panels are great, new Carpet, new Sill Plates, new Chrome Trim for the seat backs, new interior Door Handles, added a nice original Formula Steering Wheel, perfect factory 4 speed console, Factory gauges with working Factory Tach. It has the original radio in dash, and a hidden AM/FM, CD Player in the Glove box, and it sounds so much better then a stock radio ever could. The engine compartment is original, still has factory markings on the Firewall. It has Power Steering (quick ratio), Power Disc Brakes, which all works perfectly. It also has a spare and jack in the trunk, This is a nice driving and running car, a great car to get in and enjoy, and look good doing it.
