1992 Convertible Trans Am
1 of 663 produced in 1992. The conversion was performed by ASC out of California.
I purchased the vehicle about two years ago with a salvage title on it. The salvage title is fron Indiana. The car was hit in the passenger rear quater panel. The panel is buckled, were the paint chipped off I put GM touch up paint on it to stop it from rusting. This was going to be a project for me but Like everyone says no time or money.
Since I purchased the car I put about 3,500 miles on it. Here are some of the things I purchased for the car since I bought it. Used GM dash pad, the dash pad in the car now has some cracks in it. Gm used white bumper cover. Passenger Gm used rear ground effect piece. Still missing the passenger front ground effect piece. Set of 4 GTA rims that I stripped, primed, painted and clear coated. 3 tires are decent one is shot.
The Rims and dash pad are included in the auction.
The body has dents and dings. The passenger quater will have to be replaced of fixed. Passenger front quater dent center right above wheel well. Hood has little dings in it. My plan was to fix the fender and repaint the whole car. But I drove it just the way you see it in the pictures. Little ugly but still nice. The top is pretty worn with the plastic back window missing. Probably needs replacing. 2 new Kumho tires on the gray rims in front. The center councel lid is not working properly to open and close. The rearview mirror fell off the car over the winter. No cracks lights still work. The car has been in the garage or driven with the top down since I have owned it. Currently there is no muffler on the car.
My reserve is about 1,500.00 dollars les than what I paid for the car and the parts.
