EXCELLENT PROJECT CAR
This car has not been driven in 8 years.It runs rough.The transmission works.It might need tires. The honeycomb rims are nice.The overall condition of the body is good. The paint is fair as it has clear coat separation.The dash is in excellent shape,and the instrument panel is also in very good condition.The console is in good condition but needs some attention. The interior, other than the drivers seat with wear and tear, is in good condition, although there are other items that need attention like the seat belts and the carpet.The carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced.The Rubber molding needs to be replaced onthe drivers door.The rear view mirror needs to be re-glued to the windshield.The spoiler is in good condition .I do not see any rust in the car.The body seems to be solid.It needs hood springs and the hatchback needs to be looked at to see if the shocks need to be tightened or replaced.The car is dirty and does not show as well as if it had been detailed.We were going to restore the Trans Am, but had too many other projects to complete so something had to give.

This is a third generation Trans Am .The Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am was a pony car built by the Pontiac division of General Motors between 1967 and 2002.The third generation F Body weighed less than it's predecessor and offered sleek aerodynamic styling that was particularly reflected by the firebird.GM's CCC(Computer Command Control ) engine control system also continued to evolve, simultaneously increasing engine performance, raising fuel economy and lowering emissions. This combination of factors helped the third generation to re-energize the fading pony car image.

Ooops, I had listed the Trans Am as having a 5.7 Liter engine. My husband had corrected me that it was a 5.0 and I neglected to go back and correct the ad before it had posted.I do apologize. Thank you to a very alert viewer for kindly and graciously letting me know.
There are some really great e-bayers out there who are willing to teach and correct and I do appreciate it.
