Vehicle Description
Right out the paint booth! Base coat clear coat. Has a very nice driver paint job on it and really pops in the sun. Please take the time to read everything here! Ok , 1980 trans am, Y84 !!!! Been wanting to have a real smokey and the bandit trans am? Heres your chance to get one for a fair price! This car was ordered by someone for one thing and one thing only, SPEED!! She has crank windows, regular locks, AC DELETE!!! from the factory. This is the only one I have ever even seen besides some of the SD cars. She has a heater and rear defrost and of course the T-tops! I would say she is probley 400lbs or more less than a regular trans am. When I got this car someone had painted it white of all colors!! I know they did it because its in south georgia and its hot here lol. Well she just came out of my paint booth [ Dreamscape Kustom Paint} 2 weeks ago back to her glory in black! The underside of this car looks to have NEVER EVER seen road salt or been on the beach. Its the most solid second gen I have ever had and I have had a lot of them! Look at the pictures good! The boat anchor 301 motor was replace by a pontiac 350 before I got it and I am SURE its a lot faster than it was! The 301 left a lot to be desired! I am going to break it down for you in the good and the bad ok The GOOD Fresh paint and pinstriping underside of car is solid as a rock for a 28 year old car!!!! Motor and tranny runs out good the time I drove it down the road last week This car WILL get you noticed!!! It shines great and sounds good with brand NEW dual exhaust under it. Tires on the car have a lot of rubber still left on them. Now the bad, she is 28 years old so she will put a drop of oil & tranny fluid down when you park her, the interior is good enough for a driver but its pretty wore. Some of the guages don't work all the time but I am trying to check on them right now to see what is the problem. Someone had changed out the shaker hood for a turbo hood but it still looks great on the car. If you ever want to change it I will send you a quart of the paint I used so you can paint the shaker hood you get to match the car. She has some creaks and groans to her like any car thats almost 30 will have. The brakes work good and I have blead them out again but the light won't go out. Probley a bad sensor on the proportioner valve. Noticed the water pump was leaking the other day so I am putting on a new one for the winner right now. If the car meets reserve I will offer my shop services to you on replacing the interior carpet, door panels, headliner, and seat upholstrey as well as putting on the decal set if YOU buy it for 500 extra in labor. Year one is about 4 hrs from me so for all you guys that do not have the time or experiance heres your chance. You call year one and order everything and get it sent to my shop. I will put it all in for you before you take delivery of the car for 500.00 labor. I own and run Dreamscape Kustom Paint so you are not dealing with a tree shader here. If you want this done the car will have to be paid for IN FULL before I start . When I get it all and get it installed for you I will send you pics and then you finish paying me for labor and come get your new car. The car has a flordia title from the guy I bought the car from, I just haven't ever signed it and sent it off so I will just give it to you. Its signed already and ready to be put in your name.
