We at Classics on Sunset are delighted to bring to market this 1964 Porsche 356 SC, a two owner "Black Plated" California Car. The car was delivered to the first owner here in California late 1964 and has lived here since. This is a rare SC model; the car has no rust whatsoever, has sustained no accidents and has perfect body gaps all around. Factory options are Hella fog lamps, chrome wheels, AM/FM Blaupunkt radio, cocoa mats, and corduroy insert in the front seats. We have just received the Certificate of Authenticity from PCNA, the original SC, numbers matching motor (engine # 810413) has just been re-done, at a cost of over $10,000, no expenses spared. The original engine comes with its factory original Solex 40 P11 carburetors as well as the correct Knecht air cleaners, new SC pistons, barrels, cam and SC counter balanced crank. All the proper hoses and proper stock exhaust, sheet metal has all been powder coated to factory correct colors. As you can see from the pictures the battery box as well as all the floors and longitudinals are factory original. The car looks and feels, as it was new back in 1964.
