This is a 1978 Porsche 911 SC shell. It is a US spec, non-sunroof coupe, with H4 headlights, and a turbo tail, it is in fantastic shape and is nearly complete, the suspension is complete, the brakes are complete and come with steel braided brake lines. The odometer reads 42k miles, which I can only assume is actually 142k, there is no 100ths place for it though. The wheels are 16x7" and 16x8" MSW mesh wheels. It comes with a nearly complete tan interior as well as a complete black interior, the tan interior is installed, but is missing a few carpet pieces and a passenger door card, and can easily be completed. This car is just sitting waiting for an engine/harness and transmission and front seats (I have a set of SC sport seats, as well as a 3.2l engine with harness, and a 915 transmission, which those three is essentially all you need to get this project on the road, except for a clutch but am selling them separately, if you're interested in those as well, check my other auctions), other than that it is completely ready to go. I would prefer local pick up, but if it must be shipped it must be arranged by the buyer. I also have a clean title for it, it was in the form of a registration, it was last registered in Maine, and they only give registrations on historic cars, so I am currently waiting on it's new, clear, historic, Maryland title, it should be arriving within the next few weeks, and a portion of the payment can be withheld pending the arrival of the title, if that is what the buyer wishes, but I will discuss that with the buyer when the time comes, but rest assured there is indeed a clean title for this car. There is, however, one small patch of rust, on the front pan, it is nothing huge, but I feel it should be mentioned, I have included a very close up picture of the rust, just to get an idea of what it's like, it's greatly exaggerated due to the closeness of it, but once again, just so the buyer doesn't get any unexpected surprises. Other than that there are no issues to report about this car, and with very little effort you can have a very unique, very fun classic Porsche 911.
