Here is a solid, original 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa with an added factory Turbo spoiler, #93051202300, 16" Fuch's alloy wheels with new Dunlop SP Sport 2000's, original space-saver spare, Koni shocks in the front and Bilstein's in the rear, Blaupunkt "Reno" AM/FM Cassett, Silver with Grey interior. The paint has miscellaneous nicks and scrathes, including a crease on the D/S fender near the headlamp and a scrape on the gas door that cannot be seen in the photos. The front spoiler is also missing a piece that cannot be seen. Otherwise, the bodylines are straight with no sign of any collision damage, bodywork or re-paint. Driver's seat is showing signs of wear and has a torn pleat in the lower back, as can be seen in the photos. The passenger seat is stuck near the rear position. It may be something in the track, as the motor attempts to move the seat fore and aft. The interior is otherwise clean and in good condition. All the guages work. The Targa top is in good condition inside and out. A new top seal is included but not installed. Air conditioning blows cold.
The Turbo spoiler requires two gas struts, which are included (new), as opposed to one on the driver side on the non-Turbo, but to be installed requires the passenger side hinge bracket. The firewall bracket is there.
Major service was performed by The Toy Shop, now at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, at 126,980 miles, including new fuel lines, new main oil line to the front cooler, and new oil return tubes. The vehicle was deemed to be in good mechanical condition overall, and the motor in good condition, + or - 2 Lbs compression, with very little valve train wear and leak-free. The fan seal has since developed a small leak and will eventually need to be replaced. The vehicle has a new catalytic converter and California Smog Certificate.
This 911 Carrera was a new car trade-in purchased directly from the dealer.
