Vehicle Description
Listed here is my recently restored ‘sports purpose’ 964. The car was built with track or autocross in mind but can be driven on the street also. The car has been recently repainted. During this process all rubber seals and gaskets were replaced, all black trim was repainted and the car was converted to euro RS look with fiberglass front and rear bumpers, hood, sunroof as well as RS brake ducts and 935 racing mirrors. The interior was refreshed with Recaro seats, RS parcel shelf and RS carpet. The sound deadner was deleted. The powersteering system was deleted in favor of an RS steering rack. The stock suspension was replaced with complete JIC Cross coil overs. transmission has been resealed and has new RS buffer and clutch pack. The axels are new RSR units. The clutch assembly was strengthened with a Patrick Motorsports clutch fork upgrade. The engine has been rebuilt by EBS with sport cams, ARP rod bolts, cyl head update, performance head work and includes MAF upgrade, Clewett serpentine belt upgrade, all new sensors, new DME in addition to Viteese engine management system which allows the car to be tuned with a laptop to the drivers taste. The exhaust system is a ceramic coated a set of BB headers with heat and muffler. All lights and lenses have been replaced including the favored H4 upgrade. The brakes system is stock but has new pads and fluid. The wheels are new BBS and have new tires on them. The car does not have airbags (normally deleted on racing purpose cars) nor an airbag steering wheel. There is also no cat on the car. The a/c was deleted. With the weight reduction on the car and the performance upgrades she is considerably quicker than an average 964. If you are looking for a car that is unique, fun and reliable, then this might be the car for you. She has nearly been restored and has happens in some such cases I went a bit over budget to the tune of 35+ in just parts. My loss is your gain. If you want a great track or DE weapon, this is the 911 4 U.
