Vehicle Description 1969 Porsche 911 E RS Carrera Conversion. California Car with PMO Webers This 1969 Porsche 911E has been professionally converted into a 1974 Porsche Carrera RS replica. The 911E was a California car that was modified in the early 90’s. The engine is 2.2E that has been rebuilt with web cams, new case and newer PMO weber carbs (installed by PMO as engine sticker states). The 5 speed transmission and clutch operate correctly and has Weltmeister short shift installed. Brakes have been recently gone thru (including E brake system), Major tuneup and recent Weber adjustments. Exhaust is a newer BB stainless sports exhaust which has a nice growl to it. Engine and drivetrain have been very reliable and considered to be in good working condition. All electrical and charging systems work properly (Electric mirrors maybe exception) The polo red paint body is overall in pretty good shape. The 911 was professionally modified in L.A. with Porsche OEM SC flairs, bumpers and associated hardware. Rusnak Porsche was involved with car to some extent but not sure how much. The pans are in good shape and car appears to be a good, solid California car. The rear tail is an original and rare, early Carrera tail that is in very good condition and a fairly expensive item. Though the paint shows very well overall, there is one small lip dent on pass. side rear flair (shopping cart) and some minor parking lot dent repair behind rear driver flair that could have been of better quality. Car has 6 and 7 inch Fuchs wheels with good tires. The interior is in fairly good condition but does show some use. The Leather Carrera seats could use some cleaning, but are not hard or cracked. The driver side bolster shows fairly heavy use. Newer RS interior carpeting and new Lloyd floor mats. Dash has one minor crack that is not very noticeable. All instruments work with exception of Speedo which is due to broken cable (replacement cable included). The AM/FM CD player is in place but not hooked up. The heater blower works but makes noise due to lack of us. This Porsche is a very nice driving car, stops and steers straight, handles nicely, looks good and has plenty of power to enjoy the open road. I have not been able to drive this car much over the last year (due to other collector cars) and it needs to be driven. Other note worthy items: Euro H4 Headlamp conversion, Front strut brace, Bosch driving lights, front chin spoiler, car cover, and maintenance books. This car and one my other cars (65 Cobra replica) are for sale due to LOSS OF Storage. I am NOT interested in any kind of trades because of this, so please don’t waste your time or mine with offers involving trades Disclaimer: As with any older collector car, it is almost 40 year’s old, and is not perfect but I have tried to describe it honestly and accurately.
