1966 Porsche 912 Coupe, Vin # 456979, Engine # 747284. This is an early 3 guage 912 with diagonal script on the engine lid. It runs very well , starts easily warm or cold, runs really well and shifts smoothly. It has been driven daily , and is currently registered. It was repainted many years ago in Metallic Blue, ( Original Colour Was Light Ivory # 6604 ) . The paint is shows it's age , clearcoat is gone on the roof, and there are some blemishes here and there. The body is solid with the exception of some rust l;ow down on the A Pillar Drivers Side, ( see photos ). The pan is also good except for some crustiness on the drivers footwell . This will make a great car for someone looking for an original unmolested driver to use right away . Or, it can be easily taken to the next level . Thankyou for your emails. Here are the answers to some of your questions. The car was last serviced in June , had a valve Adjustment and carb adjustment at that time . ( We have the receipt for this work ). The seats are original, they were recovered in cloth rather than vinyl. Hope this helps.
