Vehicle Description
This car was found in a Garage in September, 2006....
where it had been stored since 1984
The engine was rebuilt by my mechanic with new jugs, pistons, rings,
and a Webber 2 BBL Carb, the side shift transmission was replaced
with a rebuilt unit that shifts very well. Starts and runs VERY well
I repainted it twice, once with original color last year and then the darker metalflake Green this year.
The awkward looking bumpers that the 75 Porsche came with were replaced with an original metal rear bumper from a 1970 914. The front bumper is a temporary fiberglass replica and we now have a steel bumper for the front that comes with the car.
The Fuchs wheels are intalled with adapters onto the original 4 bolt rotors.
Tires have about 500 miles on them.
Car has always been Garaged since I have owned it and for the 21 years before I found it.
The stiffness and lack of rust reflects that.
2.0 Type 4 engine Runs very good and the SIDE Shift 5 speed works well in all 5 forward gears and reverse.
Uses Progressive 2 Barrel Webber Carb instead of original Fuel injection so it is very reliable and uncomplicated.
New Tires on Fuchs Wheels
Although it looks good this Car has Fair paint job with a scratch on right front fender about 2 inches long but not deep
