Vehicle Description
Unlike many car dealers and scammers, I will be completly honest to you describing the car. I will not list all the good things and let you find out all the bad things later down the road. You can go to a used car dealer or another ebayer if you want to get ripped off. I'll start with the body. For an 1988 the body is in very good condition. The windshield has a crack on it. Their is one very very small ding on the driver's side door. The front bumber near the bottom has a few scratches or what looks like when you hit love bugs. The very top of the car has a few paint fades near top of door. Very small. It still looks amazing. Now the interior, for an 88 again this looks very good condition. The drivers seat has a small rip in the leather. The passangers sun blocker / mirror needs a plastic clip to stay in place. The dash board has small cracks here and their. The cd player is not installed "comes with one" , the plastic $15 shifter needs to be replaced. The carpet on the drivers and back seats "the little rug things" had been thrown away because it was stained. Other then that the interior is perfect. the back seats looks untouched since 1988. This is in very good condition for an 1988. Thats pretty much every thing wrong cosmetic wise that I can think of. Now mechanically. I spent over $6,000 buying a new fuel injector wire harness, ISV sensor, hall input sensor, cam sensor, intake manifold gaskets, throttle body gaskets, and what ever the mechanic that ripped me of felt I needed to get replaced. I have the receipt for the installation of the fuel injector wireharness. You can look at the wires and tell their new. Anyways here is whats wrong mechanically. The power steering belt is installed however their is a leak in the line and the power steering is out, their is a abs warning light on which means I am to frustrated to replaced the $30 sensor to get it fixed. Their is the "!" light which is probably on becuase the powersteering is not working and it needs a tune up. Their is also a little rattle at 1,300 rpm for a couple seconds will driving. Its only for a couple seconds, something is loose and I just don't have time to look at it. I bought this car originally to restore however now I am married and no longer have the time and suddenly became to lazy. Also parts of the plastic intake have been thrown away becuase they where cracked. To save money on insurance I title the car in Florida. I did this becuase originally I wanted to get the exhuast done etc. It does have a title!!!
