This is a great Original 1979 European 930 Turbo. It is one of very few painted Casablanca Beige in 1979. Color code is 514. It has been kept original just as it was delivered in Europe. This is a type 930-60. It was delivered from the factory with a 3.3 - 300HP. 304ftlb of torque. It was delivered with a larger fuel delivery system and a larger oil cooling system. They never delivered one with this HP in the US. If this goes back to Europe, it is all ready to pass inspection. It hasn't been messed with or modified. It has been kept safe in a dry garage so there are absolutely no rust issues. The undercarraige is nice and clean as well. The paint is in good condition with the ususal rock chips here and there. There was a keypad added to the dash for the alarm and the driver's seat has about a one inch wear spot on the beading. I have had it about 10yrs and put 16,000 miles on it. I make sure I drive it once or twice a month. I hunted for this car because I didn't want one of the US models. I wanted the real German version. We have never red-lined this car. This 930 is one of the best driving Porsches I have ever driven and I have driven quite a few. You won't be disappointed and it comes with a nice clean title.
The 930 was maintained by Patrick Motorsports here in the valley. I had a new Turbo put in at 55,000miles and had the brakes redone. At 65,000miles I had a new center force clutch with a lightweight flywheel put in as well as new oil lines, timing chain tentioners, all seals replaced, new sparkplugs + wires and had the original pedals rebuilt. It doesn't leak a drop of anything which is nice...also new rear wheel bearings with rebuilt CV's and new brake pads. The rear tires are new and the front have about 60% left. The car is very straight with nice original interior. The AC is all there I just have to put the original compressor back on. I just don't drive this car very often anymore and the Porsche 930 Turbo was meant to be driven!
