Offered up for auction is my 1986 Porsche Turbo. It is finished in Guards Red over Black leather interior. The exterior is all original (no paintwork guaranteed!), looks spectacular and would be rated a 9.5 or even a 10 (with ten being the highest) – I have gone over every panel on the car with a paint measurement tool and there has never been any bodywork or paintwork. The interior is in similar condition with no rips or tears and regular wear on the outside bolster of the drivers sport seat. This Porsche has always been stored indoors by me and previous owners. It does not burn oil or smoke at all with cold starts – it does drip a very small amount of oil on the garage floor from the oil return (see last paragraph). VIN – WP0JB0934GS050698 Mileage – 64,005 Option codes: C02 – Catalytic Converter for US market 018 – Sport steering wheel with elevated hub 158 - Radio “Monterey” – 86 (This has been replaced by CD player) 383 – Sport seat – left 387 – Sport seat – right 533 – Alarm system 650 – Sunroof 900 – Tourist delivery Partial service history reflects: New Bilstein Sport Suspension – 62,000 miles Four New Tires – 62,000 miles Oil change (Royal Purple) – 61,500 miles Transmission fluid flush (Royal Purple) – 61,500 miles Brake fluid flush – 61,500 miles Replace shift rod and ball cap, Adjust shifter preload – 60,000 miles Cross drilled rotors and pads - 57,000 miles Lube, Oil, Filter – 55,000 miles Rear wheel bearings clean up spindle and replace bearing and seals - 51,500 miles Clutch service (I don't know if this is service or replacement) - 50,000 miles Engine electrical service, inspect engine NY State Inspection – 49,100 miles Engine mechanical service, new tires, charge A/C system – 49,000 miles Lube, oil, filter, NY State Inspection, battery, washer pump – 48,500 miles Engine mechanical, heating system, transmission - 47,000 miles Lube, oil, filter, multi-point inspection accessories (CD player, stereo system) – 46,000 miles History This car has a very interesting history, which begins with Jim Kelly (former NFL Quarterback for the Buffalo Bills) ordering this vehicle upon signing his contact in 1986. He opted for the European delivery and flew to Porsche AG for the two-week special delivery treatment. Jim Kelly had the Porsche shipped to Florida where it was titled in his manager’s name (Moree M. Levine) and the vehicle traveled between Buffalo, NY and Jim Kelly’s FL home during the NFL football season/post-season. The second owner (Charles Scialfo) purchased the vehicle from Moree M. Levine at 45,000 miles and from what I have heard did not find out about the car’s celebrity status until he took the Porsche in to the local Porsche dealer in Buffalo, NY for service. The second owner purchased the car in 1999 at 45,000 miles and sold it to the third owner in 2004 with 50,000 miles The third owner (Jerry DeBois) was a PCA member that sought after this particular year/make/model/color/condition for sometime before finding this vehicle in Buffalo, NY. He then stored the Porsche at his Ohio home where it was driven infrequently on the weekends for approximately 3years and 10,000 miles. I myself an a PCA member of six years now and have owned many various p-cars. I am meticulous when it comes to mechanicals/upkeep and general condition/appearance. I welcome all pre-purchase inspections but please arrange to have these completed before the end of the auction. Due to the nature of this auction process – if you are the winning bidder, you will be expected to pay for the vehicle in full within seven days of auction end. Please conduct all inspections prior to auction end, winning this auction does not mean you have the decision to purchase. Clear title in my hands. This Porsche is original with the exception of the following items: Aftermarket headunit with six disc CD changer in the front truck. New speakers in front and back – used original placements (no new holes). The shifter is a new carbon fiber aftermarket item (I do not have the original). In an effort to disclose all issues with this car I am listing the known problems upfront. The car is 22 years old and I have found two very small dings in the lower exterior (these would not be noticed except by a professional detailer). There is a tiny chip in the windshield that would be fixed by a professional without removing the glass. The third gear synchro will need to be replaced within the next 5k-10k miles. The A/C system has not been converted to R134. The oil return lines drip ever so slightly and my mechanic has opted to wait to replace these as he stated the chassis lubrication is beneficial to the vehicle. No surprises, just a solid Porsche 930 in great condition and a solid service history. Please feel free to contact me through email or by phone with any questions about my Porsche.
