This is an 1986 Porsche 944 na that is used and is currently being garaged. It is a great vehicle for any person looking for a project or for good used parts. I am currently going through a divorce and need to have vehicle removed from the property and don't have any place to store it. I've owned the vehicle for about 5 years and have papers on most of the parts and repairs that I have completed since purchasing. The timing belt was replaced approx 4 years ago when it popped, which would tell anyone who knows about this model porsche that it is due for replacement. The waterpump was replaced at the same time. Since then the vehicle ran smooth. The transmission went about 3 months ago and I have not had any diagnostic done so I am unable to determine if the whole transmission needs replacement or if it is something less major. Vehicle starts but will not go into gear. The motor is pretty solid and I never had a problem getting the vehicle to start up. I have replaced the Wires with high performance Magna Spark and run with Bosch Plat plugs. Replaced the radiator fans, the fuel injectors with same model injectors that I rebuilt and replaced the lower pass side control arm 4 months ago. The speedometer stopped turning about 1.5 years ago on 166k and since then I have put about 25k on it. The vehicle definitely needs works for anyone looking for a project and is a good candidate for anyone looking for parts to give life to another porsche 944. The body is in fair condition and the interior is in poor condition. There is a Pioneer CD player with a 400 watt amplifier and an orion extreme 10 inch woofer box. Indiglo dash kit for better visibilty at night and new head lamps replaced about 1.5 years ago. All parts on the vehicle are oem with the exception of the spark plug wires as I have always tried to maintain the intergrity of the car. I would love to be able to keep the vehicle as I intended to rebuild it at some point but my circumstances have left me in a position to have to sell.
