Due to lack of time, I find myself offering my 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo (951) track car for sale. I am the second owner of this sunroof delete car. I have used it for Drivers Education (DE) only. However, this car is set up and ready to go racing. The full cage does qualify it to run in a race series. The engine has been completely rebuilt from a replacement block up about 5 events ago. Time-wise it was just over two years ago. (I have not been using the car for the past two years) It has been stored in my garage on jack stands. When we rebuilt it, I added a new clutch and light weight flywheel and pressure plate. The car has a mass air flow on it. This car is very fast and very reliable! It has been set up very well and has plenty of modifications to reduce the weight. The car has never been off track and has all original metal around it....rare for a track car! I'm not sure what class this car would run in. I also have not weighed the car. there is a small cool suit setup installed in the back of this car. The mileage is accurate at 53,805. The passenger door still has a door panel on it. The drivers door does not have a door panel on it and the power window motor has been removed. Window does work with a crank. Passenger window is still power. Power mirrors still operate. The interior carpeting has been pulled, leaving evidence of the glue. I had plans on painting over this to make the interior look nice again, but never got around to it. I kinda liked having the really fast, ugly car on the inside. Everyone would come to take a look after they had me coming up on them in the rear view mirror. The car has white fuchs on it with Hoosier's on them. the fronts need replacing. the rears will last through a couple more DE events. The wheels are 8's on the front and 9's on the rear. I will certainly answer any specific questions. I also have an 18' single open car trailer that will be available for sale too if wanted. I will be listing it separately for $1600.00. I also have a lap timer that is brand new and has never been installed in the car. That will go with the vehicle.

This is a DE car that is race ready with a full cage. It has never been wrecked. Paint is in great shape all the way around. Interior has been stripped except for dash and center console.
Tires: HAS HOOSIERS ON TIRES - REARS OK - FRONTS NEED REPLACING
Brakes: FRONT PADS ARE NEEDED AFTER 1 OR 2 TRACK SESSIONS

The remainder is due within 5 days of Auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate, you can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
If you are not sure about something, Please ASK. Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback or zero feedback. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale. We reserve the right to advertise and sell all of our vehicles locally.
In the event that an item is won and possession is taken of the vehicle by the buyer and the buyer is not satisfied with the vehicle. The vehicle may be returned to Dealer Auto Exchange and a full refund of the purchase price will be given to the buyer. However, the buyer will not be refunded any shipping costs that were incurred by the buyer to get the vehicle to him or her. The buyer is responsible for these costs and will not be refunded by Dealer Auto Exchange.
