1992 Porsche 968 cabriolet beautiful and reliable Extremely nice Porsche 968 Cabriolet with triptronic transmission. Never damaged, very clean, thoroughly checked by our shop and very dependable.(drive home!) If you consider this car to be perfect but ,minus our list, you will be delighted. Our pre purchase check is as follows: (and in no particular order) Electric seats work but pops the fuse, emergency brake pulls high but works, very small stone nick in the windshield, small exhaust rattle, heat is constantly on, air bag light on, ac compressor engages and blows but heater is on so cold air cannot be detected, steering wheel off center, steering rack moves because it needs bushings,, drivers seat wear, tires need medium speed balance, lower engine protection cover missing, fuse box cover missing, rear rotors rough, right front sway bar bushing is swollen, slight oil pan gasket leak, new cat convertor has been installed, one balljoint boot is ripped, stone guards are old and cracking, three or four door dings, one ding on the fender, rocker covers ill fitting at the front door, hood has been painted, right top vertical seal is worn, odometer has stopped working, various paint chips. All in all this car looks great and drives great. With a few minor repairs it would make a great car. ( we can complete all of the repairs in our shop should you choose to do so at a nominal cost) 968 models as you probably know are the pinnacle of the 924 944 968 generation, and with the limited numbers made will always increase in value. Porsche could not afford to continue making these high quality cars so had to cheapen the marque as well as export production to other countries beyond Germany. Hi Everyone who is bidding; If you are really interested in purchasing this car, you may want to bid higher., I have had several people call me interested in this car and will of course sell it to the highest bidder. Currently I have offers much higher than the 2650 bid so far! So please do not be surprised if the listing disappears before the end of the auction! Additionally, I have found the fuse box cover and the plastic undershield and will bolt both back on the car and have fixed the air conditioning heat as it was just a disconnected vacuum motor. Heating and air conditioning now work great!
