Description
The Porsche Cayman S "Porsche Design Edition 1", is a limited-edition special series; 777 are to be built, (of which only 250 are destined for the US) each identified by a badge on the lid of the glove box.
Porsche has incorporated various design disciplines into the mid-engine Cayman S: the black exterior of the Edition 1 emphasizes the purist nature of the 295-bhp sports car and, at the same time, is a nod to Porsche Design and the famous Chronograph 1s designed by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche precisely 35 years previously.
Beneath the ten-millimeter-lower body of the Cayman S Edition 1, standard Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) actively controls the hardness of the shock absorbers and it features a special Sport mode that can be activated at the touch of a button for a really dynamic driving feel. Five-millimeter spacers together with 19-inch turbo wheels give the Cayman S "Porsche Design Edition 1" a presence that is reinforced yet further by the 235/35 ZR 19 tires at the front axle and the 265/35 ZR 19 tires at the rear. The gloss black paint finish has been extended to the door handles, front spoiler lip and air intakes. All this black is contrasted by red taillight lenses and brake calipers.
Inside, the Porsche Design Edition 1 has been given additional luxury above that of the standard Cayman S: the black leather and Alcantara upholstery harmonizes with refined details such as the instrument dials, the layout of which reflects that of all Porsche Design chronographs. The center console, dashboard, and door trims glisten in black, while the three-spoke sports steering wheel, the gear lever, the handbrake grip, and the roof lining are clothed in non-slip black Alcantara. The Porsche logo (crest) is embossed on the headrests and the brushed stainless steel door entry guards are engraved with the model name.
Further strengthening the ties between the two firms is the Porsche Design Edition 1 collection, which comes in black or black matte and is included as standard equipment with the Cayman S Porsche Design Edition 1. Included in the collection are a briefcase, a Flat Six Chronograph, a pocket knife, sunglasses, pen and key ring.

This car has factory warranty for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. This warranty is honored at any Porsche Dealer in North America and Canada. This includes 4 years of Porsche Roadside Assistance. The car will be thoroughly cleaned and detailed, and delivered with a full tank of premium fuel, at no extra cost.
IRA Porsche Audi reserves the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early if the car sells, at a price higher than reserve, prior to auction end. The car has a clear title.
We are unable to sell this new vehicle to any person, or organization, intending to export this car from the U.S.A. The Certificate of Origin must be assigned to a valid US address and license plates MUST be fitted to the vehicle before transportation or delivery. We can assist with out of state licensing.

The buyer agrees to pay full bid amount (plus fees stated and taxes if applicable) within 5 days of the end of auction. Fee and Tax Information: Ira Porsche Audi assesses a $295 administrative fee on all transactions. All purchases must be accompanied with a minimum of a $1,000 deposit.
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1,000.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. We can arrange competitive financing for any buyer with the receipt of an authorized credit report application. The buyer is under no obligation to finance with us, however if you require financing, please ensure that it is approved and in place before bidding.
