Vehicle Description
This is a 1926 Renault Torpdeo. Very rare here in the USA. It Runs and drives great (for a car of this vintage). Engine starts easily by electric starter. Brakes clutch and 3 speed gearbox all work great. Very original and complete. Body and paint is in overall very good condition. Paint is nice but not perfect. Body has no rust or major problems. The body has a wooden frame inside the metal. I can not find any rot in the wood but the rear body sags a little causing a gap at the rear doors (see pictures). Not a serious problem when you consider the simple nature of its construction. The frame is very solid. The only rust I can find is the bottoms of the two tool boxes built into the running boards and the bottom of the battery tray. The floorboards are wood and look fine. Interior upholstery is red vinyl and looks very nice. Tyres are in great condition. Glass windscreen is good, one of the two glass wind deflectors (added later not original) has a crack in it. The top is decent (no holes or rips) and the bows are complete. There are no side curtains.
Car must be paid for within 7 days of auction end.
