I am listing this for my cousin who bought it several years ago and doesnt have the time or money to give it the restoration that it deserves...
This is a VERY RARE car,,, I spent a few hours searching the internet last night for info on this, there isnt much out there, I did find that there was 1,201 of these chassis built from 1936-1938 and they went off to several different coachbuilders for the bodies, so I cant imagine there is more than a couple of these cars left out there...
I havent tried to start this, the previous owner stated that he drove it into his shop, but it kept plugging the fuel filter, the fuel tank has since been removed, cleaned, and repaired but was never reinstalled. The motor turns over freely and shouldnt take much to get running.
The body on this is in great shape, and is rust free since it is all aluminum, the brightwork is all there, but needs to be replated, the interior appears to be all there as well, but needs to be completely redone.
I will be pulling it out of the trailer in the next few days to get more pics, I have set up an album already with many more pics
