1976 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow (Long Wheel Base)
Hello and thank-you for looking at my Rolls-Royce. It's time for a lucky enthusiasist to gain a nice car for a sharp collection. Although this car was driven regularly, it's not a show car and will need minor TLC before major trips can be made. I used to have a Limo service in Chicago, IL and this was one of my top money makers. I have had this car for several years. I have kept the car in the best shape that I can. Body: I decided to have it repainted "wedding white". I was over booked and overwelmed by thumbs up, it made it into a new car! It now shows a few imperfections to the paint, they are very minor and pictured. I had the stock tan top dyed white, making more striking. No major rust or rot issues, although I noticed some minor rust, but only surface and very small...
Interior: Now keeping in mind the car is 32 years old I had to do something with the interior. It has the white piping and I loved it. So when it came to redying, I spent more to leave it the way it was. The seats look great! It has a very nice wood trim and shows some pealing on the front door caps. The wood in the rear is flawless. It has a nice clean head liner. Glass is in good condition. It has a full set (4) of Lambs wool rugs and a pair of foot rests. It's very luxurious!!
Engine/Tech: This car has the factory 6.75 liter V-8 Rolls-Royce motor. Runs great! It was always serviced regularly and kept up to high standards. I had the transmission rebuilt. It has A/C, but needs to be rechared often to blow cold. It has good brakes and suspention. Some times the power door locks stick, all power widows work, all power seats work. This car has a 8-track radio, WOW that brings back memories... I think it needs tires, it seems to ride a little firm. The car has been sitting for a while and could use a tune-up and inspection before putting on the road again. It starts, drives, and stops...
I had this car on eBay before, it didn't work out... I don't need a scammer or a time waster. I am just looking for a serious buyer. I can have the car shipped to you anywhere in the world, at you expence ofcourse... This car has a low reserve so don't miss this one...
