A car you can fly in and drive it home................
With NO RESERVE, Highest bidder wins.
1972 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Long Wheelbase Model, 4 Door Sedan....Brand new Tan Leather (Buttersoft) Interior.
Interior : Brand new tan leather throughout, smells absolutely new, the carpets are good and the wood is crackfree ( Very Nice ) No cracks in the Black dash pad. The leather package was over $8,000 and about $3,000 to install.
Has newer up dated Radio as well as CB system with automatic antenna with radio on/off mode. Nice sound system.
Headliner is in beautiful condition, nice and clean. As nice as I have ever seen in a Shadow, Spirit or Spur.
Running Gear: Engine does not burn oil or leak, could set up idle a little, starts first time everytime, runs at normal temperature with very good oil pressure and very responsive....If you want, Please bring your mechanic to check it out..
Mileage in car shows 52,000 + miles, I'm sure it must be 152K. interior of motor compartment is clean and the hood pads have been replaced recently.Very nice.
Suspersion System all rebuilt, Hydraulic System and Brake system have been completely gone through by Murphy's Roll Royce in Columbus ( A well respected Rolls and Bentley Restoration Shop)..Have receipts for work that has been done to the car in the last several years, no shortcuts, very extensive...Notice how the car sits...Perfect.
Michelin Black Walls Tires, say about , 85% left to go, Hub Caps have Black stripe background with Tan stripping overlay, very nice. Personally I like WSW's better, but that's how we got the car...Very English.
All the glass looks good, may have just a little fogging in the lower corners of the windshield only ( very minimal ), the balance of all the glass is very nice.
Air Conditioning will absolutely freeze your knee caps off.....It is ICE COLD Cold, a must be for me.
Steering wheel, has a cover on it, very well done I might add, however can come off if you wish exposing standard wheel.
Trunk comes with Jack and tools . Tan carpet with Tan leather piping in trunk area, with carpet inside deck lid being Black with Black piping.
In the Glove box are Receipts for work done ( in excess of $30,000 in the last several years ) and the Original Owners Book with repair notes etc.
Exterior : Mason's Black paint including the top, Note the rear window treatment, a slightly smaller type, very nice look .. This car also has Dual Tan Pin Stripping lines along Stainless Steel Trim on sides, as well as Single Stripes on the Hubcaps.
The lower left fender quarter panel has some bubbles as does the lower panel under the rear bumper near the exhaust outlet, we have not fixed this area, as we would like to see same if we were buying the car. No quick repair work just to sell the car. We would guess in the $1000 / $1500 dollar range in a good quality body shop that you would be satisfied with...again have your folks take a look at it, to build your confidence.
This is a very nice Rolls Royce a '72 Silver / Long Wheelbase / Shadow , with a new leather interior, radio upgrade, good wood, good body panels all the way around. Nice Stainless and Chrome, a very nice and clean car...........One you can drive TODAY........On a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being a new car, we would judge this car 7.5 or 8.........Bid to own, the best part of this car is that it would bring just as much or more in parts however it is a very presentable and driveable Rolls Royce... ......................... Bid to own.................................Come and look at it, if you want,.............. it is avaliable.....We are not a dealer, just a collector so don't be bashful, have a question PLEASE Ask...I don't think you will be dissappointed .......The Buyer is purchasing and the Seller is selling this Rolls Royce in "AS IS WHERE IS CONDITION" so again you are welcome to come and view the car, just give us a day or so notice, please.
