Up for sale is a 1992 Black SAAB Convertible 900S. This car is a good running car that has it's minor wear and tear, but is in good condition. There are 109,887 miles on it and has next to new tires. It has a brand new battery that I just replaced today (7/16/08) worth $75. It is good on gas mileage. The convertible top has slight tears (very small), but do not effect the quality of the top and there is no leaking. There is a hard plastic shell for the top when it is down to give it a clean profile look, valued at around $350.00. The are some minor dents and scratches on the car as seen in the pictures. The wheel well on the front left, there is paint missing and a slight dent, and the driver seat with some scratches in the leather, but there are no holes. On the picture of the front dash, on the steering wheel, the buttons that cover the horns are missing but the horn still works. Also the muffler is missing the tail pipe, although you would never know because the car runs so quietly. Other than these few minor blemishes, this is a excellent car and has a lot of life left in it. It may eventually need new windshield wipers and a tail pipe, but is a great car. This was my father's car and was garage kept and very well taken care of. I have since acquired it from him, and I have no need for another car so I am sacrificing this car with a reserve lower than Kelley's Blue Book value. Upon my last look on Kelley's Blue Book, the value of this car was $2,800 private party, and $3,250 retail. I am also selling this car locally and reserve the right to end the auction for this car at any time. Highest bidder at the end of auction must deposit a minimum of $500.00 within 24 hours. Will also accept cash or cashier's check during pick up. There is no existing warranty and is being sold as is, but do not let that effect your decision on bidding for this car because it is a great car.
