92 Saab 900S Convertible - Classic Saab 900 S 1992 198K Miles
Description: Offered for auction is this 1992 Saab 900S Convertible. It's a 5-speed with 198K miles. Overall it's in pretty good shape and has a current Massachusetts inspection sticker. But as you would expect with a car of its age and mileage, it's not perfect. Regardless, it is a lot of fun to drive and gets good gas mileage. I drove this car almost exclusively last summer and it never gave me any problems. This was always reliable, safe, and comfortable transportation for me.
A few issues to mention:
Paint job. Probably looks better in pictures than in person.
It has a few minor dings.
It has a small patch of rust on the passenger side of the hood.
With those flaws pointed out, this is still a very solid, fun Saab convertible. It starts right up and drives well. The convertible top works great and doesn't leak. It has the all nice S features like power windows, power doorlocks, power mirrors, power steering, etc...
The original front seats we worn so I recently replaced them with a set of power leather seats from a later 4-door Saab. The color is slightly off and there's no quick release for folding forward. They have memory settings so I just set one to all the way forward for easier access to the rear.
The ONLY reason I'm selling this car is lack of space. I've got too many vehicles and have to let some go. If I had room, I would definitely keep this car around as it gets good gas mileage and is a blast to drive.
But as a used car, this is being sold as-is, where-is. I offer no guarantees or warranties on this car. So if you're interested in bidding, I would recommend coming by to check out the car before bidding. The winning bidder buys the car, not the opportunity to come by and try to negotiate a better deal. So ask all questions you may have prior to bidding.
Payments: PayPal is the preferred method of payment. Payment must be made in full before the car can be removed. A non-refundable $250 deposit by PayPal is required within 24 hours of the end of the auction. If that condition is not meet, the car will either be relisted or offered to the next highest bidder.
Shipping: The car is located in Massachusetts near the intersection of the MASS Pike and Route 495. The car can be shipped if the winning bidder makes all the arrangements and pays all the costs. And the car needs to be picked up within two weeks from the close of the auction unless other arrangements are made PRIOR to the end of the auction.
