Up for bids on this wonderful NO RESERVE auction is a 1996 Saturn SC2 with Red Exterior, black gray interior, with the 1.9L I4 SFI, 4 Cyclinder automatic transmission, with 79,156 ORIGINAL MILES! Fully loaded with working automatic locks and windows, brand new battery installed with warranty, spoiler, cruise control, alloy wheels, like new tires, was told that new transmission was put in 2000 miles ago.. original radio was taken out but all connections are still in place so you just need to pop in another radio, spare tire with emergency road side tools included, has tinted windows, vehicle runs however I purchased it from ex girlfriends mother who did not get oil changes done in 12k miles, vehicle stopped working on her and I bought it to fix up. I was going to keep the vehicle myself, get it fixed but have had some financial difficulties that had to put this SC2 on the back burner. I added a new battery, cranked right up, car runs however cloudy white smoke comes out and knocking sound from engine.. sounds like a valve needs to be adjusted and possibly a new head gasket from what Mechanics have mentioned but if that doesn't solve the problem you can always rebuild the engine or replace it. This would be perfect for a mechanic who already has knowledge in fixing the vehicle them self, at most parts shouldn't cost too much and with you doing the labor yourself or getting someone to do it at a reasonable price you should make good money reselling or keep it as a dependable daily vehicle. With soaring gas prices, now is the time to have a vehicle like the Saturn SC2. I know a lot about these cars and bought it without hesitation to fix it up originally as I usto have another Saturn SC2 of this model and she ran just perfectly with nothing major needing to be replaced, it usto get 35 mpg hwy and 28 mpg city, a real champ and I believe this Saturn will be the same once some TLC is applied.
Look at all the pictures, look at the details, there are no dings on the body but there is some cosmetic damage by the front bumper which can be replaceable, should not cost too much or if you know how to bond it back, that can work as well as these have body panels made to be dent resistent so it shouldn't be too hard to fix the way it is.. paint is in fair to decent condition, with a nice wax job, she'll look great. Interior is in decent condition, no rips, etc.
This is overall a good fixer upper for a mechanic who can do the work them self and then keep it as a daily driver or re-sell it for some good money.. these hold up their value quite well. I should have the owners manuals as well which will be included when I find them.

This vehicle does turn on and runs but I would not drive it until it is fixed properly. Would not drive in its present conditon as it does need work.. new battery included with warranty, 2 keys come with the vehicle and I also have a clear title IN HAND. Hurry up and bid as high as you're willing to go or I may just end up fixing her up and putting on eBay for $3000 to sell.
