Massachusetts car with NO body rust (of course - she has plastic body panels) but a solid undercarriage, too. Front wheel drive with power provided by a 1.9L fuel injected single overhead cam 4 cylinder and automatic overdrive transmission - plenty of engine for this small car. Good cosmetics, cold a/c. Drives well but ENGINE SMOKES - cannot be driven home unless you feel like getting a ticket every seven miles and causing millions of dollars in property damage and risking the lives of your fellow following motorists.

Condition Report
ENGINE: Runs on all four cylinders without ticking, missing, or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. The check engine light is on.Good battery and charging system. Recent oil change. Runs strong, but SMOKES - photo in listing is at idle.
TRANSMISSION: Performs flawlessly. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all four forward gears with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no bad smell nor noticeable leaks.
EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in great shape. No rust, of course, on the outer plastic body panels. No collision or rust repair, but has a few small scuffs around - worst is pictured. Above average. Paint: Paint is in good shape. No collision repair, no repaint. Has a few small scuffs and scratches as seen in pics. Decals are vinyl and can be removed without paint damage. Also above average. Other: Plastic bumpers are in good shape with no cracks or deep scuffs. Undercarriage is nice solid - see the pics. Has a little rust in the rear door sills as is common on these models. All glass is free of cracks and chips. Hubcaps are in good shape with no curb rash.
INTERIOR: The interior is in nice condition with no heavy wear. Headliner, dash, carpets, seats and door panels are all in above average condition. Non-smoker's car - no odors. Light soil around. Average.
ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) All the options work on the car which isn't too much: hot heat, cold air, am/fm cassette, rear wiper and rear defroster all work.
DRIVEABILITY: Drives nicely, but leaves a trail of smoke. Suspension and steering are tight and alignment is good. Brakes work well with good linings and no noise or vibration. Tires are in good shape with about 60% tread all around on a matched set of good quality radials. Solid exhaust from front to back. Zippy around town and cruises smoothly at highway speeds. Nice driving car despite all the smoke from the engine, which is indicative of major internal damage.
Because it cannot pass inspection, car cannot be sold to NY residents except for dealers or dismantlers. No such restrictions on out of state residents.

Short version: Small deposit as listed (but fast) by overnight mail or Paypal within 24 hours. Balance due in 7 calendar (5 business) days from auction end. I'll pick you up at the Geneva, NY bus station or meet you or your transporter by appointment. $125 admin fee on this auction. Note that pickup times are ONLY: If you need DMV service (temp tags or new NY plates) - Monday or Wednesday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you do not need DMV service, above times or Tuesdays 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. or Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Prepaid vehicles scheduled for transport can be picked up any time with at least 24 business hours' notice - have your driver call me.
