This is an original California car, correct black and yellow plate. The mileage appears to be correct, see pictures of oil changes with dates, mileage and location. I bought it from a friend and shipped it back to Indiana where it was made. Condition, runs and drives, need to double clutch synchrows are off, needs a flange gasket for the exhaust head pipe, leaks and is noisy, will try to pick up one plus an ebrake handle. Lights and turn lights work, wiper and heater don't, I'm not mechanic, looks like a couple of wires off ,don't like electric, bad things happen if you mess up, will try to have a friend check this out along with the exhaust leak. Rust, two small holes on passanger front floor and bubbles in front fender bottoms (see pictures) area was wire brushed and a rust stableizer was applied, passenger side only was effected. Body and paint, paint is driver quality, looks good from five feet, closer it shows areas around the front window trim where they did not prep the original paint and there is some minor peeling, none in the main areas of the body, has some nicks and scratchs, one small dent in driver quarter, hard to see, and a small dent in the roof, can feel it. Figure this is good enough for a use it and enjoy it and restore later if you want, car looks like the pictures shiny and straight. Uphlostery, rear seat, headliner and door panels very nice, driver door panel has a small cut on the bottom, could be glued down, front seat is obviously in need of new material but only on the front surface, I think the original material is available from SMS in Oregon, the ribbed material on the back of the seat is in excellent condition, I don't have a new carper kit. I did put on a new grill, have the original, have a nice grill surround, did not come on this model, have a set of nos tail lights, the original tail lights, and what I think are '59 tail lights which I prefer the design over the others. I also bought a used but nice horn ring, turn signal lenses,a dash pad ,it has a small nick in the vinyl which can be filled and painted to match the original, also bought a set of the plastic chrome seat hinge covers. The hubcaps are from my Gremlin and don't go with the car, also the battery stays, I need it to start and move my other projects. My plan was to drop in a 350/350, redo the front seats, carpet kit, wheels, lower the front a tad and enjoy.I found a '53 Willys, now the Lark is to normal for my collection.
