1987 Suzuki Samurai 4x4 This Suzuki Samurai is in good condition for being 21 years old. The odometer has 53494 miles on it but I am not sure of the original mileage. It has a clear title. It has had a complete tune up to include. 1. timing belt. 2. spark plug wires, spark plugs and cap and rotor. 3. fuel pump and filter. 4. oil and filter. 5. transmission and transfer case gear oil. 6. front and rear diff oil. the engine does not smoke and it has plenty of power for a stock 1.3L. The 4x4 works good. The passenger and rear seat are in excellent condition, the driver side seat is ripped. It has normal rust for a Samurai. The rocker panels have been cut out and been replaced with 1/8" steel plate and treated and painted. The rest of the rust has been treated with Eastwood rust converter. If you have any questions let me know. The Samurai is in Colorado so it does have studed tires on the rear. If you would like any other pics of any other part of the vehicle let me know and I will take them and email them. If you would like to look at it in person before bidding email me and we can set up a time if you are in this area. Thanks and good luck bidding. I am not sure why.I still runs good going down the road with good power. On some Samurai forums is says this is very common with a stock carb. if you have any questions let me know. On Jul-26-08 at 14:25:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I took it out and drove it for 100 miles at 60-65 MPH and got 28 MPG. Also if you are looking for a vehicle that does highway speeds this is not it. It is not built for speed. It is great for around town or in the mountains. It will do 60 to 65 MPH depending on if you have a headwind. On Jul-26-08 at 19:49:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Regarding earlier post that it will not idle very good when warmed up. A friend of mine looked at it and found some vacuum lines not routed properly and it idles a lot better now. Sorry about the changes to my description but I want my description to be accurate if I forgot anything in my origanal posting or if anything changes with the vehicle. thanks, Dan
