We have been selling on eBay for seven years and have been very proud that for this period we have maintained a feedback record that has been 100% positive for this whole period with no negative feedbacks! Recently we received one negative feedback that we were trying to get removed as what caused it was a transporter problem But now eBay has taken away the mutual feedback removal so this cannot be done, and you have to live with feedback even if both parties agree it should be removed. UPDATE July 11,2008: eBay announced today that the mutual feedback removal will return to eBay sometime this fall.
eBay has just made changes in the feedback rating that does not reflect the 496 positive feedbacks that has earned us recognition and merit of being an eBay Top Seller for the last five years, and a eBay Power Seller as well. Now eBay will only take into consideration the last 12 months of feedbacks and throw out all the previous years feedback where you have worked hard to sell good cars and take care of people. Read through our 496 feedbacks and you will see what our customers think of us!
Second eBay now considers a neutral feedback the same as a negative and it counts against your total percentage the same as a negative - it is hard to understand why they would do this. One neutral now can knock your percentage down quite a bit! And the person who left the neutral did not want to hurt us as they were happy with the car and may have just had a problem with the shipper being late on delivery. UPDATE July 11,2008: eBay realized that this was wrong after the many complaints they had from good sellers, and neutral feedback will no longer count against you the same as negative feedbacks in effecting your positive percentage starting sometimes in late August. At that time our POSIITIVE feedback percentage will return to around 99%!
Then on each listing they show your total feedback since you started on eBay which for us is 496, and then show right under that your percentage for the last 12 months only, including neutral feedbacks that count the same as negatives, making it look like you have many negative feedbacks which is not true! Hopefully they will correct this soon as it is VERY misleading.
I pledge to you that we will sell only the finest cars that are fully inspected and checked out, and represent them properly on eBay. If the car or truck is not EXACTLY THE WAY WE DESCRIBE IT, you do not have to take the car and we will refund any monies paid to us in full. My name is Harvey Lipman and I have been in the Automobile business for over 40 years. To give you a little background I was a new car dealer in Connecticut for over 25 years, and moved to Florida 16 years ago. I have a dealers license here under the name Florida Motor Cars and I buy and sell special vehicles that I find during my travels around the state and at dealer auctions. I look for cars that are in excellent above average condition Selling them on eBay started off as a hobby with me and has turned into a business. Every car we buy goes through a safety and mechanical check up. We also check the vehicles history through a national database which seems to be a fairly accurate source for a vehicles history, although they do have mistakes. I take the additional step, that you will see very few dealers do, of having an oil analysis done on the engine through a company here called MOTORCHECK, which will show up any unusual wear and tell me the condition of the internal parts of the engine, including bearing wear, piston wear, cylinder wear, ring wear and tests for coolant leaks which could be caused by blown head gaskets, cracked heads etc. Any car that flunks any of these tests is not put on eBay and is wholesaled locally! My cars sell with a low reserve that is at wholesale prices, and should save you thousands over the same car at a new car dealership. I also offer a "Buy it Now" option on my cars for those who want the car and do not want to take a chance on being outbid in the last few minutes and sometimes I offer a special bonus on our cars purchased with the Buy it Now option which will be shown in the Buy it Now box above. 2004 Toyota Avalon XLS
An absolutely gorgeous ONE OWNER Florida lease this Smoke Free Avalon XLS looks great in champagne gold with the beige simulated convertible top. It even has some of the new car smell inside and it in excellent condition, as you can see from all the pictures. It is a Presidential edition which consists of the special color combination and top. Drive this car and you will think you are driving a Lexus GS300, as they are just about the same car, with the same engine and many shared parts, and this car has only been driven around 7,500 miles per year.
According to CARFAX 1-owner 2004 Toyota Avalon XLS vehicles are worth an average of $1,326 more to consumers because 1-owner vehicles tend to be consistently driven and maintained. This beautiful Avalon XLS certainly has been treated with tender loving care - another excellent FLORIDA MOTOR CARS buy.
EXTERIOR CONDITION: Excellent. Walking around the car in the front there are some scrapes in the paint on the left corner of the bumper that have been touched up, and a few tiny pebble chips on the bumper and front of the hood. On the passenger side there are a few minor scrapes in the paint on the front fender, and on the front door at the front end of the side protection molding. There are also a few creases in the metal in the front door where other doors have been opened up against it that only show up if the light hits it the right way. In the rear there are a few small scratches in the paint on the bumper. On the drivers side there is a small crease in the metal on the rear quarter panel just in front of the rear wheel that I have a close up picture of below.
INTERIOR CONDITION: Also excellent. Every part of the interior in this beautiful Avalon is in excellent condition as you can see in all the pictures. There is hardly any wear showing on the upholstery, carpeting, headliner, dash or steering wheel. This vehicle obviously has been very well cared for on the inside as well.
MECHANICAL CONDITION: Excellent. It runs great and everything works like it should as well. It is a quiet, great running car with ice cold air conditioning. We also have an inexpensive extended warranty available. Call for prices 561 684-7788.

PLEASE be realistic and realize that these are used vehicles not new, and although we try to buy the cleanest cars available, we may miss small nicks or chips in our description. All used cars including this one may have dings, nicks and chips, scratches and any other marks that are associated with use consistent with the age and mileage of the vehicle. Obviously, a car that is 8 years old will show more wear and have more flaws than one that is only 2 years old. Most cars are sold at wholesale prices, many way below book prices. Therefore, there is minimum profit, especially on "no reserve" auctions. As such, we can not afford to warranty the vehicle as if you had purchased it for full list price. We strongly recommend that all buyers purchase an Extended Warranty (available on most cars). This will help defray the cost of mechanical repairs should any become necessary in the future. Remember some of these cars are near a decade old and they may be new to you, but that does not change the fact that they are used vehicles and repairs may be needed at any time regardless of how short a time period you have owned the car. While we try to service any known defects it is always possible for any used vehicles to need service or repairs in the first days or weeks of ownership. NOT likely, but possible! Florida residents must pay applicable state sales tax and license and registration fees. We will handle all licensing and title work for Florida Buyers. Out of state buyers, when the vehicle is shipped to them, are responsible to pay all taxes in the state where they are registering the vehicle and do not have to pay any taxes or fees to the state of Florida. Should buyer wish to pick this vehicle up in Florida, Seller will collect applicable sales tax at the rate charged in the state in which Buyer is going to register the vehicle. This applies only when the buyer "takes possession" of the vehicle in Florida. Should buyers state sales tax be greater than 6%, buyer will have to pay any tax owed over the 6% Florida requires Seller to collect when they register the car in their state. Should Buyers state sales tax be less than 6%, seller will collect whatever the Buyers state requires and no more. We will provide you with a notarized affidavit stating that this tax has been paid and you will not have to pay it again in your state. Seller can furnish Buyer a 30-day temporary license plate. Buyer must have proof of insurance on this vehicle and a valid drivers license.

Shipping
IMPORTANT: eBay recommends getting a shipping quote from, and using DAS for shipping, because eBay has a tie in with DAS. We have found that DAS is much higher priced than the shippers we use. As an example they quoted one of our customers $1,150. to ship door to door from Florida to North Carolina. We had the car shipped to the same place from a shipper we use for $550. We belong to Central Dispatch, which is a group of shippers and several hundred transporters all certified to have an up to date license and full insurance. Those wishing to fly in to pick up your vehicle, our office is 2 blocks from the West Palm Beach
airport (PBI) and we will pick you up there when you arrive. Saturday and Sunday pickup
is normally available. If you fly into Ft. Lauderdale you can take the Tri-Rail train up to West
Palm Beach and we will pick you up at the train station.
If you decide to ship your vehicle, all shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Any
claims arising from shipping or damage are between the buyer and shipping company, and
Florida Motor Cars will not be responsible in any way from claims arising from damage
caused in shipment. However we deal with many transport companies who have done an excellent
job for us, and we will be happy to assist you as your agent in getting the best price for your shipment.
