1994 Toyota Corolla
1.8 Liter 4 Cylinder Automatic Transmission
Up for auction is a 1994 Toyota Corolla. The engine runs well, but lacks acceleration at the high end. While the exterior has many dings and scrapes, it gets great mileage (consistently better than 30 mpg highway!!) and the transmission shifts perfectly. It has new front tires, and an aftermarket Sony AM/FM Stereo and CD player (with a line-in jack for your iPod or MP3 player!)
The AC is ice cold, and doesn't significantly affect mileage. Cruise control, power locks, power mirrors, and all electrical functions work perfectly. Unlike many early-mid nineties vehicles, this Corolla comes with retractable cup holders for the driver and passenger.
The exterior is damaged in many places - scrapes along the front, a cracked headlight cover (though the light itself still functions), a dent in the side - it is not in very pretty condition. However, all the troubles are cosmetic, and don't interfere with the operation of the vehicle. There is minimal rust, and certainly are no rust holes. The driver's interior door handle is broken (see pictures) but still functions - it separated from the door, but can be put back into place. Also on the driver's door, the interior panel is loose, but not falling apart. I have had minor engine trouble - an intermittent knock - and it seems to use a quart of oil for every 1000 miles, though none appears on the ground nor is there blue smoke in the exhaust.
Included with the vehicle is its owner's manual, extra headlamp bulb, spare tire, jack, and tools (see pictures).
