This very straight body car is a little big gas saver that I aquired back in 1992 with an engine problem. It can start long enough to feel the transaxle go into drive and reverse but it is not driveable. I have never got around to pulling the head for an inspection to see if I could fix it with a valve job or if it was going to need an entire exchange engine. The reason I have kept it around for so long is because I know how well these cars do for cheap transportation and they have a very strong following due to thier reputation. It has been sitting around mostly and I have moved it from place to place with me and started it periodically. I'm guilty of being lazy, not to mention having too many cars around all the time. My family and my landlord at the business are driving me crazy and I could use the money so that's why I chose this time to do this, The mileage is definately origional and accurate as is the old paint. The vehicle was used for commuting from the San Fernando Valley to Palmdale everyday and has mostly highway miles on it as evidenced by the road chips on the leading edge of the hood. It's all there and not taken apart in anyway including the air conditioner, it's from California, and totally rust free. It is going to need an engine repair, a bumper tp bumper service, and tires and a battery to get it going and then it can once again start to save someone $$$$$ as these little Toyotas are so well known for. This is a no reserve auction and with that low starting bid price I am practically giving this car away. And with this vehicle's 3AC Cal 1500cc four cylinder engine 30 plus mpg is to be expected so it's well worth the effort to get it running. And when is the last time you have seen one of these cars? Please bid only if you intend to complete the transaction. You will need a transport vehicle to remove the Toyota from this location. This is for local pick up no delivery is included. The vehicle must be paid for in full within 7 days. A 50% non refundable deposit must be received within 72hrs. The vehicle must be picked up within 10 days of the auction end or a $50.00 per day storage fee will be charged. Questions? Feel free to ask and I will respond. Tanks for looking and happy bidding!
