ALL ORIGINAL 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 with only 92,000 miles on the STOCK F2 engine.
FOUR WHEEL DRIVE!!! This car can go ANYWHERE.
It has a FOUR SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION, with NEW clutch master and slave cylinders.
Late model Land Cruisers with LOW MILES and ORIGINAL PARTS are extremely RARE.
I bought this car a year ago for $10,000 and have put more than $4,000 into it.The engine is STRONG. The car runs and looks GREAT. It has new clutch master and slave cylinders. This car is currently smogged in California. After I purchased this car I went to a mechanic and got it appraised; he said that he never sees late model Land Cruisers in this condition with this few miles for less than $12,000 to $14,000!!!
This car is a real head turner. EVERYONE talks about it when you pull up. With the TOP OFF it is STUNNING.
The car has NEW FRONT DOOR SEALS and NEW ROOF GASKETS.
The car is a sheer joy to drive, and it pains me greatly to sell it.
The car includes a tape deck and four speakers, as well as a 6 disk CD changer.
The car has been SERVICED REGULARLY, and I have the repair records for the past 9 years.
The car RUNS VERY WELL and is my DAILY DRIVER. It can cruise at 65 on the freeway. This is a truly remarkable machine. I had dreams of restoring it, but my lack of a garage seriously hampered this and I finally realized that I needed to part with it. The interior is in quite good condition.
Known Problems:There is some body rot and rust repair. There are two small holes on the dash (filled), and the driver's seat has some tears. The windshield is cracked.
Thank you for your interest, and I hope that this car can find the loving home it deserves! Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions!
