Vehicle Description 1986 mr2 red with a 5 speed. This car was a project that went well..... for awhile. Lets start from the begining, I got this car after i fell in love with it, I got it because it needed some work and the people did not want to put any money in to it. I got it and pulled the engine and transmission, steamed cleaned the whole setup and then painted some parts. I also replaced the clutch, alternator, water pump, timing belt, alt and water pump belt removed the compressor (later you will see why), cap rotor plugs and wires, I also replaced the valve cover gaskets and oil pan gasket. I drove the car for fifty miles then got bored. So i got a manifold put on a garrett turbo piped the intercooler into the boot (air to water) then before the engine i added a eic (extra injector controller) and blow off valve. The turbo is internally gated external gating is avaliable on the manifold though. The gauges are mounted on the glove box it was fiberglasses and almost finished needs like another two hours of work it has boost, air fuel, oil pressure. The pressure oil side is steel braided it comes from a oil filter sandwhich plate located on the oil filter relocation kit the oil filter is a huge one its on the driver side under the battery, easily accesible from under the car. The exhaust is 2.25 inch turbo back including a cat converter, and flex pipe as well as a chrome tip. The interior has racing seats with four point harnesses, these are real buckets not that reclining stuff. At this time i also replaced the front pads rotors and rear pads and rotors, i also replaced the e brake cable so that works great. The car leaks nothing. The reason i took off the ac compressor is the air to water intercooler pipes the water to the front of the car and goes through the ac condensor then returns, the water side of the intercooler was never hooked up as i was driving it when it was coolder out in the fifetys. I drove the car for about ahundred miles then the engine developed a rod knock and frooze, i have the abilities to repair it but i was already knee deep in my other project and that has my money tied up right now. The only things this car needs is an engine and front stabilizer links (go to twosrus.com). I have well over three grand in the car, In the auction i will include the car (with the prime wheels aftermarket) all the turbo stuff on it as described and as running, a body kit which needs to be installed and a brand new in the box t25 turbo with gaskets and flanges, quite a deal.
