This was my mother's car. It was purchased new, where we lived in Santa Rosa, California. It was left to me in 1995, when she passed-away. I drove the car here to Massachusetts, where it has been kept stored in our garage since. The car has been driven occassionally, but never in the snow, or winter. The car is in excellent condition, inside and out, and drives really well. My personal mechanic, and the local Toyota dealership, says that the car is in exceptional condition and is exceptionally rust free. The paint and interior, including floor mats are all original. The car is accident free, but the paint has been touched-up on a few occassions, for minor dings, etc. The body is in excellent condition, but the paint has faded noticibly. There are numerous road chips behind the wheels, but the exterior is very straight. The interior is also in excellent condition. There is only one small wear spot on the side of the driver's seat, but that material is black and easily matched, according to an upholstorer we spoke with. The air conditioning was charged in 1995, and worked well. It doesn't currently blow cold air, and we haven't had it checked, since the car is not driven that often. The sound system is original. The radio works, but turns itself on and off on occasion. The cassette deck accepts a tape, but cycles fron one side to the other without playing the tape. I was told that the unit could be removed and is servicable. The tires have good tread, but have been on the car for a long time. The car passed it's current inspection, but it was pointed out that the tires are getting old. I have all of the original paperwork, manuals and maintenance records and receipts for the car. I'm not sure what else to point out. The car has just been very reliable, fun to drive, and gets a lot of comments when we drive it. I'm assuming that it is one of the best one's around, that would make for an easy full restoration, or just to be driven daily as it curruntly is.
