For sale is my 1997 15th Anniversary Limited Edition Toyota Supra Twin Turbo Six Speed. The car was purchased 4 years ago from an insurance auto auction in bone stock form and transformed to what it is today by the expertise of myself, friends, and sponsoring race shops. The car was properly repaired in a matter of months and sprayed in PPG Winning Blue. Since then, the car has evolved from its stock well mannered behaviors into a menacing example of extreme street performance. Having been a Supra owner for 12 years, only the highest quality parts and knowledge have gone into this car.
The entire drive train is nearly new or refreshed. The motor in the car was recently rebuilt 3000 miles ago from top to bottom only using genuine Toyota parts. The new motor was broken in using the MotoMan method and initial oil changes with mineral oil at 20, 200, and 1000 mile intervals using 10W-40 oil. It’s now ready for your choice of synthetic oil for the remainder of the life of the motor. The transmission went thru a $3k overhaul replacing all internal components by John Reed of RREV Motorsports 20k miles ago.
Having a standalone ECU tuned by a professional is the key to getting the drivability and enjoyment out of any car, along with the piece of mind that the job was done right. John Reed is as reputable as they come in the Supra community. AEM Factory Trained, traveling the world tuning the most respected cars. My car now drives better then it did on the stock tune. The car outputs 510whp @ 18psi. on pump gas and 656whp @ 28psi. on C16 race fuel reaching max boost pressure by 4200rpm. Coupled with the classy, not raspy sound, of the rerouted waste gate, nearly stock pedal feel of the RPS C/C clutch, and non droning exhaust note, this car is extremely streetable and daily driven quite often. The car was fitted with a modified SW RaceCars 5 point roll cage that still allows functionality of the hatch targa placement, and back seat for smaller people. The cage is plate welded and NHRA certified to 10.0 seconds with door swing out.
Although this car carries with it an Idaho salvage title, the parts alone invested out way any clean title example. Consider getting a free car with the parts you buy and happy bidding.
