It has come time to get rid of my supra, I have had this car 3-4 years. The car is out of Dallas Texas and it completely rust free, the paint is in good shape but needs work, it has around 130,000 miles on it. I just bought a different 1jz supra and have no need to keep this car right now. I don’t know if the motor has a aftermarket head gasket or anything else about the motor other then it seems to run very good. I had the car waxed and buffed once and the person doing the buffing made a 2 spots on the car were the paint is thin. There is one dent right behind the driver side window. The car over all is done but there is some work that needs done to make it a daily driver again. The start had stop working so i parked the car, i just recently put a new rebuilt start on the car. I had to rewire the a/c to a toggle switch but the car does have nice ice cold air. Also the temp gauge stop working so I put a Auto-meter water gauge in the car. The car does have a check engine light now but it doesn't seem to hurt the car in any way . The driver seat has a large rip in it toward the top of the seat.The speedometer has been acting up i have a new replacement for the car but haven't installed it yet, i will inculde the new cable. Car has newer battery, spark plugs and NGK spark plug wires, new brakes, drilled and slotted rotors, walbro 255 fuel pump, and newer exhaust with a new style flow master muffler. I changed the front emblem to the newer supra one with a toyota sign instead of it saying toyota supra. The car is in good shape just needs a lot of tlc and a little work to be a great everyday driver. Do to the check engine light i haven't driven the car much lately and would think it be best to tow the car instead of driving. I don't know any reason that the car would not make the trip.
