Here we have a local trade-in of a 1986 Toyota Pick-Up 4Cyl Long-bed 5Speed Manual. This near classic pickup is certainly a living legend! It features a very fuel efficient 2.4 Liter 4cyl engine, and is combined with a gas saving 5speed manual transmission. This vehicle features an ORIGINAL AND WORKING ODODMETER reading of 133,500! That's right, if you do the math this vehicle has only been driven and average of only about 6100 miles over 22 years! That being the case, the engine starts right up and is really a testimony to the Toyota Nameplate that represents the ultimate in Quality, Durability, and Reliability. The transmission and the clutch to the vehicle are also in great shape. Tires are in good shape and have a good bit of tread wear remaining. Overall the vehicle has been very well maintained and again it is simply amazing to realize the true age of the vehicle. Cosmetically, the floors show traffic dirt, but the seats of the vehicle have been kept very clean and in no way show the age of a 22 to 23 year old vehicle.
As with all of our auctions, we try very hard to represent our vehicles as accurately as possible so you can bid with the utmost confidence. Based on the year model of the vehicle, it is being sold AS-IS, and though it has been overall well maintained, it is not perfect. Please check out our feedback comments that show that our vehicles often look much better in person than they do online. The AC of the vehicle does NOT BLOW COLD but other than that there are no major issues mechanically. The small scrapes, scratches, minor dings, and areas where the previous owner applied touch-up paint are all pictured. Also pictured and shown in the video is the normal wear and tear and dirt of the interior. This vehicle in no way appears to be 22 to 23 years old, and the overall mechanical and cosmetic condition definitely reflects that.

Some titles take up to 21 days to receive from lien holders. Banks or lenders may hold vehicles titles as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. Titles that are paid for by cashiers check are held up to 14 business days for checks to clear. We reserve the right to end this auction early for any reason and to sell the car to our walk up traffic at any time before end of auction. Please call for further details.

Fees: Out of State
Out of state buyers may be charged sales tax, title, and/or license fees. Some states reciprocate sales tax with South Carolina and if so, we would collect 6% on the trade difference up to $300 cap. You would then pay the difference to your state when you register the vehicle. If not, then the customer is responsible for paying the taxes, fees, and registering the vehicle in their home state. All final prices include a $289.00 Processing fee.

In state buyers will be charged state and local taxes, title, and registration. Processing fees are already included. All sales transactions must be completed within 5 days of auction close.
Deposit
In order to secure purchase on vehicle, Successful buyer must within 24 hours of winning auction or closing send to Dick Dyer Toyota, a deposit of a minimum of $500 Via Visa, MC, and AMX Credit Cards or certified funds (cashier's check). Please call for limits and details (additional charge will incur service fee). Within 5 days of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by wire transfer, cash, and bank certified funds to Seller. Most certified bank funds are not verifiable by phone now, so we can not deliver the vehicle until they clear our bank. At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License to (803) 786-5864. Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned complete to Seller. All "Buy it Now" transactions require a $300 deposit at the time of bid.
