Vehicle Description Up for auction is a very good running 1996 Toyota Tercel 2 door. The exterior color is maroon and the interior is gray. The car has a manual transmission and it has 167,000 miles on it. If you know anything about Toyota's longevity, then you know this car has a ton of miles left in it. This car shifts smooth as can be, runs great in the city, and performs absolutely awesome on the highway. I average about 38 miles to the gallon on my commute with this car, and it drives so smooth and handles with ease. The tires on the front are about six months old, tires on the back are in great condition. The battery is about a year old, and I had all new belts put on last month along with new brakes. This car started every single day for me last winter and I had no problems at all with driving it in the snow. The drives side door handle is half broken off, but it still opens fine. You can get one for a few bucks and put it on. There is one stone chip in the windshield, which you can see in the photos. This chip has been in the windshield since I bought the car, and its has not spread or gotten bigger. The car is in normal condition for a twelve year old car. The driver side rear panel has a small dent, and there is a little rust on one of the rear panels. I have not hidden anything in the pictures. The car also has its share of dings and chips on it, the hood has quite a few chips in the paint from stones etc. What matters the most is the mechanical conditon, and this car runs great. When I had the brakes done and new belts installed, mechanic said this car should run for another 3-4 years with no problems at all. The interior is in average shape, you can see the drivers side seat has a rip in it from normal useage. The rear seat is average, there is a stain from a can of soda being spilled by my niece. The car does not burn any oil, does not smoke, it is in excellent mechanical condition. The only reason Im selling it is because I have a six month old baby and its difficult putting a carseat in the back. I have upgraded to a Camry, I hate to see this car go with gas prices climbing, but somene is going to get a nice running car! Most important, check my feedback. I have sold several cars on here and have never had any complaints. Im honest and trustworthy, please ask any questions and good luck! I am the third owner of this car, the first owner lived in Colorado and then sold the car to a family member who moved here. The car has always been well taken care of, it was purchased brand new from one of John Elway's car lots in Denver.
