Up for your consideration are two Toyota 4 wheel drive vans. The Le van was used and running daily till 2006. The van developed a front brake rotor warp and before I could fix it my commercial fishing got in the way. The van has been parked for two years. The starter fried over the winter and rust took over the usual places. The tires on the LE are brand new. The little nubbies are still on them. No miles on them at all. The van was used for work and it shows. My dog rode with me so I put in a plain jane cargo front passenger seat so the wet dog would not ruin the nice LE cloth seat. The rear fold down seat is in the back. The LE has a nice factory sound system, air conditioner and factory cooler/ ice maker. Exhaust is incomplete from the catalic converter back. The Ignition key is broke but I think I have a spare around here some place. If I can not find it just be aware of the fact. The cargo van is a 5 speed model with the hi-low transfer case and with manual locking hubs. This van has taken me all over this great country. Most of it off road. I had Palmer Spring in Portland lift this rig for me back in 1999 when I was blasting for Sheehan Pipline out of Tulsa Oklahoma. They blew a swath through the state of Maine for the Maritimes Natural Gas Pipeline(Hi J.D.). The terrain was very very rugged. This van made me a ton of money and if I had not had it I would not have got all the over time sitting on the shot over night pulling security. I was on double time for like 3 weeks straight 24/7. You can break out a full sized army cot on the drivers side of the van and live better than in any tent and go just about any place. The lift made a big difference on trails and stream crossings. The kayak decal is from the last owner who bought it new and used it to pick up paddlers after river runs. He was about 80 years old when he bought it new. He said it was starting to rust and he was right! I liked the decal so I left it on all this time. Since I bought it I had Mike Hansen the glass guru cut out the rust, foam in a new shape and glass the repairs with matt and structure composites. He is a serious glass monkey for Lyman Moorse yachts. These vans rot out here in New England. As far as the mechanicals go I would feel comfortable saying she is just about 100%. Some sensors are on the blitz so the oil light will come on and the radiator light as well but that is about it. She has never been run hot or dry. I have never ever beat on her. Regular oil changes to keep the compression up. All systems are good. Cooling, steering, suspension. The brakes were just done by Beckets on 131 last year. Automaster put in a new tie rod end for me and the whole rack was replaced not to long before that. The tires are not dry rotted but they are worn past ideal measures. The cargo van suffered a pulled bumper about three weeks ago pulling a decent sized powerboat. The boat got launched pretty quickly! I will not be doing that again anytime soon. The van has the torque no problem but the rear end was rusty and she came undone. I also took out the passenger seat for the pooch. Still have the seat. Nice Yakima high tower roof racks. The ramp sitting on them is not included in this auction. The van goes fine none the less but now she will need more than I can throw into her now. 10 day auction for any interested bidders to get there gig together to come see these two old ladies. These vehicles are being sold as 1 running parts car and 1 that does not (the LE). I will not endorse the safety of these cars. Though I can tell you this much, if I was to take one of these some where, it would be the cargo with the LE tires and bumper. If you decide to bid and you win these cars, you will have to make the calls to have them towed to your local. I will give you time but don't mistake nice with dumb, if you leave them here with out keeping in contact they will go away. I do not have current certificates/title in hand but getting a propper certificate is easy to do in Maine as long as you are in fact the owner. Both of these vans have been titled in my name before and getting new paper issued to the new owner is what the system is for. I have a bunch of extra parts for these vans. Seats, airboxes/mass air flow censors, seat consoles etc. I will give you all the parts that I have based on many junk yard runs looking for these rigs back in the mid 90's. Bring your own battery if you want to go some were in it. I have been running these vans since 94. I like the fact that you can put a full 4X 8 sheet of plywood inside the back and shut the door! The cargo vans rear door latch is gone from the rear bumper debacle. If you were ballsy enough to try driving one of these home in the dark(cargo), you would need to tie some rope on the inside hatch back door to keep the door closed. Cargo's tire are worn.I am not recomending driving this van with out legal plates and current auto insurance on it, just for the record. She starts vibrating at 45 miles per hour. Change over to the other tires for the midnight run out of here. The locking hubs are smooth and engage freely as they should. Remember these are being sold for parts, as is with no warantee expressed or implied. Do what you can with these and leave me good feedback for an honest deal. 10 days is enough time to make towing calls and payment details. I listed the vans friday in an attempt to have you fine ebay folks view for Saturday, here we are a day later and still no add. Indexing my behind. Ebay motors needs to get it together. The vans are full of good parts. Check out the fishing pictures with Marky Spaulding(AKA- the mummy). Thanks for looking
