Vehicle Description
1964 Triumph Spitfire 4 MKII Red with Black Interior. Titled as a 1965 but actually a 1964. Serial #53456FC. We believe the mileage to be 81387. As best we can tell it is completely original except for obvious things like tires, brakes, hoses, belts, starter, battery, coil, solenoid. Has had a recent tune up. Runs good and Shifts good. Keeps good temperature and heater works. The motor does have an oil leak out the rear left cylinder head gasket. After driving for a while it does leave a small puddle of oil on the garage floor about 6" in diameter. Does Run very well, you can drive it home. Drives and handles nice but in our opinion it could use some shocks and springs as it feels a little squishy. Original exhaust, does scrape muffler sometimes on back roads when going fast-not if you take it easy. Body looks original except in a few places where it was touched up in past. May have a few mud spots, may have none at all. The underside is solid with minimal rust from age, has a few small holes up to about an inch around. Drivers floorboard has a 1ft by 1ft. rivoted plate of steel repair which is the only bad spot on the underside, the rest is pretty solid. Has Original interior and Tonneau cover. Wheels are 13" with 155R13 78S Tires. Chrome apears to all be here. Doors are hard to open close due to sagging a little from age. Outer drivers door handle needs repair, it sometimes doesn't work. Turn signals don't work. Rear Gas tank seeping out fuel line gasket when filled to the top-needs new gasket. No extras, just the car. Available for Pickup Only. Rittman Ohio.
