Welcome, and thank you for viewing this ebay auction. Fedele Auto Sales is a Massachusetts family owned Used Car Dealership that has been in the business reputably for over 30 years. We always have a vast variety of daily commuters, first time drivers, luxury and sports vehicles for sale at wholesale prices. All our vehicles are inspected for mechanical and safety concerns prior to the sale. Vehicles get the "OK" before delivery. Fedele Auto Sales also offers a "Good Faith" warranty on all our vehicles. If something has been overlooked beyond our description but not outside normal expectations of a "Used Car" we will attempt to correct it. Being reasonable is the key.

This auction will be for a 1975 Triumph Spitfire 1500. This popular 70's sport convertible was originally a Green car with a Black interior. This Spitfire is a restoration project and not a daily driver at this time.
The Triumph has some nice features, such as factory luggage rack, disc brakes, factory Triumph wheels with center caps, headrests and a nice interior wood trim decor.
The drivetrain is believed to be the original four cylinder with manual transmission. The engine does run and does run pretty good. The engine is clean and there are no noises or problems. The clutch and transmission also are in good shape We drove car, but only about 20mph using 1-2 gears. The car needs work to go beyond that speed safely.
The Body is in pretty good shape too. It does have some rust in the floors and some on the lower quarters but the car is NOT a rust out. It can be restored and there are a whole bunch of parts in the trunk and more coming from the previous owner. There is an extra gas tank, windshield and complete tilt-nose to name a few.
This Spitfire was last inspected in 1998. So it has not been sitting for all that long. It is a project car though and it should be expected that work to the car will be needed to make it road worthy again. The Triumph should be trailed home also as there are no brakes.
We certainly have seen worse than this when it comes to these cars. This one is worthy of restoring but will need a complete restoration.

1: As new condition. Needs nothing mechanically nor cosmetically.
2: Excellent mechanically and cosmetically. Probably has the normal cosmetic wear, but is in very nice clean condition.
3: Does have more noticeable cosmetic flaws, but still has a nice appearance and is a mechanically sound vehicle.
4: May have more than the normal amount of cosmetic flaws and/or need mechanical work, but still is a decent vehicle.
5: Vehicle needs work and/or cosmetics. May run and drive, but has problems.

1)Due to Deadbeat bidders, Fedele Auto Sales reserves the right to accept, cancel or deny bids from any ebay member.
2)Please call if you are seriously interested in purchasing this item. Forty to Fifty percent of all our vehicles sell prior to the ending of the ebay auction.
3)Please be aware of ebay's policy on bidding. You are bidding to purchase this vehicle, NOT come and take a look. So, your responsible decision to purchase this vehicle is made before you bid, NOT after.
4)PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS! We will do our best to accurately describe all vehicles, but be aware our vehicles are pre-owned and not brand new. Therefore, signs of wear and use may be present beyond our description (small paint chips, nicks, scratches, fading, wheel scuffs etc.) may exist. Also, Most of our vehicles are New England vehicles. Normal oxidation and/or surface rust may exist under the vehicle. However, anything that inhibits structural integrity will be disclosed.
5)After the auction ends Fedele Auto Sales will attempt to make contact with high bidder via email. If confirmation is not received within 24 hours Fedele Auto Sales reserves the right to cancel this auction or sell to any qualified bidder.
6)PAYMENT METHOD:Full payment for this vehicle is to be be paid within (5) days. This is to be done with one of the following methods: Bank to Bank wire transfer, Credit Card, Paypal, Bank Check or Money Order. Credit Card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee. We will not accept Paypal transfers over $250. Financing is not available at this time.
7)DELIVERY METHODS: A)Door to door shipping is acceptable. We prefer to use Dependable Auto Shippers (dependableautoshippers.com), an Ebay recommended shipping company. They have a terminal in Woburn, MA. 01888 and we can deliver the vehicle to their terminal at no cost. There are also an endless number of transporters and brokers ready to serve you. We recommend you search the Internet for quotes prior to bidding. We will assist with the delivery any way we can. B)Massachusetts does not issue temporary license plates. So we use this standard procedure for out of state transactions. We ask that the buyer makes full payment on the vehicle. Once payment has been received and cleared, we will overnight mail to you the title and our bill of sale. At this point the buyer can register and acquire plates for pick up. Every State tends to have different laws so please check your state first if this is a concern. C)To Fly-In-Drive-Home, please use Logan Airport, Boston, MA. as the airport of choice. From there take the Logan Express Shuttle to Woburn, MA. This is about a ten minute ride and a courtesy pick up from us is available at that point.
8)Payment is to be received in full and all payment methods must clear before the release of the vehicle and/or any paperwork can be given.
9)Unless agreed upon, the vehicle is to be picked up within (7) days. After (7) days the vehicle will be brought to a storage facility subject to their liens for release.
10)Not concurring with any of the above terms could result in a loss of this sale. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS, PLEASE DO NOT BID!!!
