I bought this car just as you see it to fix up and wife and I go play in it. Wife had stroke so that is that. It has a GT6 engine and gearbox, it runs verrry strong and deffinately does not sound like a regular Spitfire. It does need complete restoring if you want perfact or just let the clutch out and have a blast as is for rest of summer. The rear ujoint is bad and I have a new one but it is not installed, so I would not drive it home, bring a trailer or some way to tow.
Needs tlc to make pretty. New York inspection just ran out July 1, 08.
