1974 Triumph TR-6
Convertible
Thanks for looking at the Triumph TR-6... It has been in my collection for a while, now it must be passed on to a family/collector that will spend time and money on it. I have way too many toys and cannot keep them all so I will be eBay'n them off one by one. This car runs and drives great. The tires on it are shot and cannot be drivin on for long (dry rotted). The engine runs VERY WELL. It idols smooth and has good oil pressure, no smoke, or knocking noises. The transmission is good and shifts in all gears correctly, it does not have over drive. It shows 50,000 miles on it and I am tempted to think this is correct due to the large folder of service records going back several years... The paint on it is faded but could be buffed to make more presentable. It does have a few rust spots (see pictures). The floors seem solid. The Convertible top needs to be replaced. The interior is rather clean for a 34 year old car... The door panels should be redone/replaced. The interior is "saddle" in color... This car needs only minor "TLC" to be a daily driver again, it was used some years back for trips in access of 600 miles, going through the car and doing the important things (tires, top, and tune-up/service) will bring you years of enjoyment...
