Vehicle Description
This Triumph TR6 is almost show quality. Originally painted yellow, the car was meticulously restored and is now a brilliant pimento red. The chrome is gleaming.
This TR6 is in excellent running condition. It starts strong, shifts easily, and has good brakes and new redline tires.
Relative to mechanicals, this year, I replaced the: front sway bar and link bushings, rear shocks, clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, clutch rod, ignition wire sets, ignition rotor, most major hoses, the battery, and the horn.. Also new are the motor mounts, a battery cut-off switch, and a spin-on oil filter adapter.
The interior is beautiful and fully restored, with a new teak dashboard, new carpets, new competition seat belts, and a new leather-trimmed steering wheel. All interior panels are in excellent condition.
The convertible top closes readily and has a an zipper-open rear window and new rubber seals. A small tear on the convertible top was repaired with a stitched-on patch.
The car comes with a poly cotton dust cover, a new spare tire, and a new workshop manual.
This TR6 has no rust spots and it totally clean.
So what’s left to do: touch up one exterior scratch (shown on the door panel in the photograph); repair the windshield washer (it doesn’t work); and hook up the heater (the blower doesn’t work).
