Vehicle Description
Here is a Triumph TR3A That runs drives good for being 48 years old.Engine starts right up,sound great and is very responsive.Transmission shifts smoothly threw all gears,clutch feels good too.We bought it with the intension of enjoying it and then restoring it later,but are now in the process of a new buisness venture and are selling..I will try to go over everything that i know about the car...but i must say i am new to the Triumph classics and do not know alot about the vin number decoders.
Engine looks to be the original with 54326 mi. could be original miles but title says "exempt" Compression in each cylinder is right at 149to150 :head code 02137 could not find number on block. Firewall number EBS59183 (S could be a 5.)
Body is in great condition for what i am use to with older cars..With a little rust on bottom of cowl driver side under paint,cracks around trunk hing can see in pic.and paint to me looks like it might have been red at one time but could be red primer, again i hope someone could tell me with the vin or body tag number.We took the carpet out to inspect the floors(was not that great anyway)Floors pans look to have been replaced at one time and were done by what looks to me someone who knew what they were doing..The hood,i dont know why someone would do that but who am i! I will have more pics of inside in the next day or so.7 pics did not come threw for somereason
All the chrome looks great,glass and lights are all in great shape...this would be a great restoration with alot of potential for investment
Brakes are a little spungy,one was rusted and replaced brake line so we could drive it only..The guy we bought it from had it stored for approx: 15 years.
Hard top with windows and will get the pics of the windows when i get a chance.Wheels are not original i dont think,but do have some beauty rings that came with it and some other paper work(maintenance and repair) that i have not had time to go completly through it.

Engine code found thanks to " cfmsn "ebay member number is
TS61306E There are pics of four extra door shells,two with no skin on them and two with windows but need completley restored .. you can see in pic..There is also a factory glove box that was not installed with all the factory nuts and bolts in pic along with some nice literature that i have used since we have owned it to familiarize myself with the car.In the pics are receipts from the early 80's and 90' where there was a considerable amount of maintenance work done on the car.....

Hi..i have had a few emails regarding the top if it is steal and the suspension and frame..The TOP is the rare steal top...The suspension and frame is in awsome shape with only surface rust, there is still what looks to be factory undercoating on the car.Suspension is in good shape also..If you would like pics i can send them to you..
